At GlobeTrack Wireless, Inc. (GTW) your privacy is of the utmost importance to us. As a result, we have adopted the following privacy policy regarding how the information you provide to us is used and upheld. Specifically, we believe it is important for you to know how we treat information about you that we may receive from our website. If you visit any other website maintained by GTW or its affiliates, please be sure to refer to the privacy policy and other website terms and conditions posted on that site.
Types of Information Collected
Generally speaking, you can visit gtwgps.com without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. Our web servers simply collect the domain names of our visitors and seek to place a "cookie" on your computer's hard drive which allows the server to identify the computer when it visits again in order to track statistical information about navigation to and throughout certain areas of our site. The information that is tracked is used only for internal purposes, such as to improve site navigation and to measure the effectiveness of our promotional offers. It is not shared with anyone other than GTW affiliates and contractors who assist us in these efforts and who are bound to confidentiality.
Additionally, while providing or attempting to provide services to you, GTW may collect certain personal information about you. Security of Online and Phone Transactions
Some areas of the GTW website are not accessible unless you supply certain personal information. For example, in order to access your account via gtwgps.com, you must enter your "login ID" and "password".
GTW has specific security policies and procedures in place to protect your personal information from loss, abuse or modification. In addition, our personnel who have access to your data have been trained to preserve the confidentiality of your personal information. We may also record the telephone conversation. We record the telephone conversation to track the performance of our advertisements and for quality assurance purposes. We do not record the calls for the purpose of collecting your personal information. If we record the telephone conversation, we will notify you before the conversation begins.
By providing your contact information and telephone number, you expressly authorize GTW or their affiliates to contact you at the telephone number you have provided and/or the email address that has been provided in respect to this offer and any new offers made available in the future, even though you may have previously chosen to have the telephone number that you provided or the email address given added to any "do not call" or anti-spam lists. You further acknowledge that by submitting your information to us, that we and our affiliates have permission to contact you via telephone and/or email.
GTW Inc. and gtwgps.com comply with the Can Spam Act of 2003. GTW is clearly identified as the source in all emails we send and both a link and physical address are provided allowing users to unsubscribe from our mailing list. GTW and gtwgps.com honor all unsubscribe requests within a maximum of ten days and provide an email suppression list to all partners on a weekly basis that prevents users who have unsubscribed with us from receiving partner emails promoting GTW. GTW provides all necessary information to partners to help ensure their emails promoting GTW are also Can Spam compliant.
To be removed from our mailing list, please visit www.gtwgps.com/unsubscribe and enter all email addresses you wish to unsubscribe (one at a time) or write to us requesting to be unsubscribed at the following address: 13915 Burnet Rd, Suite 408, Austin, TX 78728. If you receive an email promoting GTW that does not meet these guidelines, it is possible an unauthorized source may be sending emails in our name and we request your immediate assistance in informing us so we may take action to prevent this from continuing.
Changes
GTW reserves the right to revise this U.S. privacy policy at any time, without previous notice; however the most current version of the policy will always be available to you by following the link at the bottom of the GTW website.
